Why Horses?
Horses are very much like humans in that they are social animals.
They have distinct personalities, attitudes, and moods. An
approach that seems to work with one horse, does not necessarily
work with another. In other words, horses provide vast opportunities
for metaphorical learning.
Most importantly, horses are honest and they have the ability
to mirror exactly what human body language tells them.
Because horses are sensitive and innately intuitive, they
have the ability to show us intimacy and teach us about relationships
and the importance of creating and preserving personal boundaries.
Being with them, and around them, is an empowering experience
- one that will encourage us to feel, reach out and connect
with the world around us.
NO horse experience is necessary!
